PBC’s® off-site production facility out by the Prescott airport went into operation in December of 2011 was publicly christened with an Open House celebration in May of 2012 and is now up and running full steam ahead. In addition to Liquid Amber Ale and Ponderosa IPA in cans and kegs being increasingly available statewide, we launched Lodgepole Light Cream Ale, Petrified Porter, Achocolypse, and Christmas City Ale in draft form during the latter half of 2013.

With a new Brite Tank on the way, we’ll be able to diversify our selection on the open market even further this year. If your favorite liquor store, restaurant, tavern, bar, grocery store or pub doesn’t carry our beer….let them know you want it! And you want it NOW!

General Contractor Bob Bell, former Prescott City Councilman and long-time contractor who specializes in Butler Steel Buildings is the conductor of the symphony for the next several months as the building goes up. Believing in supporting our local community and economy as we do, ALL sub-contractors are local folks who are providing local jobs throughout the construction. While we couldn’t find a local stainless steel brewery manufacturer, we ARE having our tanks built in the good ole U.S. of A. at Silver State Stainless in Moundhouse, Nevada…no outsourcing to China for tanks for PBC.

The plant will consist of a 30-barrel brewhouse, with a complement of 30 and 60 barrel fermenters. We’ll be brewing and canning a variety of PBC favorites, including Liquid Amber Ale and Ponderosa IPA which are both already out in cans. The new plant will give us the ability to increase our production levels of beers being brewed for distribution without interfering with the wide variety of beer styles that have always been available at the pub. All pub equipment will remain at 130 W. Gurley Street as we continue to provide our guests with the finest in handcrafted ales & lagers brewed on-site for over 17 years….along with some of the best handcrafted, made-from-scratch, food anywhere to be found.

Thank you, everyone, for supporting PBC® all these years, whether it be for a great meal or to tip a few pints with friends and family… Check us out on Facebook or our newly designed website for updated photos as the project progresses.
