Prescott Brewing Company is a full service restaurant/brewery located in the heart of historic downtown Prescott. We are independently owned and operated by our original owners, John and Roxane Nielsen.  Established in 1994, PBC has garnered national and international awards for it's handcrafted beers and produces over 40 styles throughout the year. PBC is wel-established and highly successful, with a history of annual growth since inception. We foster a team oriented management style. We offer an excellent casual, yet professional, dining experience for our guests, never pretentious, emphasing "fun & friendly... brewpub style" menu selections and service. We are high-volume, fast paced and right in the middle of all the action for the dozens of events that take place right outside our doorstep on Prescott's hometown courtyard plaza. We are community minded, involved in many local events and fundraisers. Our kitchen is 99% scratch kitchen, providing a large & varied menu. Our bar is lively and we attract people of all ages and backgrounds. We are hands-on owners and look for managers with the same philosophy.

Since we are an independent restaurant, we do not have "awards" to mention that are part of a bigger company. However, we have been continuously voted in the Top Ten Microbreweries in Arizona by Ranking Arizona Magazine since 2000, having garnered the top #1 spot in 2001 and 2004, AND NOW AGAIN IN 2010 FOR YEAR 2009!  Our beers have won 26 national and international awards in prestigious competitions such as the Great American Beer Festival, North American Brewers Association, and the international World Beer Cup. We have  received Small Business of the Year award for Yavapai County, were selected amongst the Top 100 Small Businesses of the Year in Entreprenuer Magazine in the 1990's. Our owners, John and Roxane Nielsen, have been solicted to speak at national brewpub conferences.

PBC will celebrate our 16TH ANNIVERSARY in March of this year….thanks to our many loyal supporters, locals and visitors alike.  16 years of hard labor...nah, not that bad, but 16 years in the restaurant business is a LONG time!

YOU are included amongst those who've allowed us to thrive, contribute to our community and keep 65-75 employees on staff all year long!  As everyone knows, these have been difficult times for many. We believe every one of us knows personally of someone who has struggled this past year with job loss, or a small business owner who has had to lay off a good employee, or maybe has had to close their business.  Luckily, PBC is okay, thanks to YOU. Not to say we wouldn’t want more of the dining dollars out there...but we’re extremely grateful for the continued support of those in our community and visitors from literally all over the world.  We recently heard an economist from ASU remark, somewhat jokingly, that “Flat is the new Up” when it comes to business these days.  So, with that new definition, the picture is rosier!   All kidding aside, we’d like to remind everyone that each of us can make a difference in our communities by shopping local, supporting locally-owned, independent businesses, supporting our local charities and non-profits and volunteering for your favorite cause.
